Darin came home from work with these the other day. I used to think flowers were just a waste of money, but now I love them. I have such a sweet husband.

BOWLING!!!
I just found this Post in my blogs as a draft and I realized I never finished the post so I'm not going to write and write about it, just that when Susan and her girls were here, we all went bowling with Nana and Hapa. We had tons of fun. The End.

Starlett loves the snake
When we had our flood last week, we had to keep the snake in a pillowcase over the heater for quite a few hours. When we finally pulled it out, we were kind of suprised that Starlett wanted to hold it, so Darin let her and she quickly became obsessed with it and wouldn't let us take it away from her. Me, not being a complete snake lover, was a little nervous because I didn't think she was holding it very well. She would try and play with his mouth and that just freaked me out a little too much so after a few pictures, and Star saying uh cheeze everytime we took the snake away, meaning I want another picture. I decided that was enough for the day. But at least we know now that she definatly takes after her dad in the animal loving department.

Flood times!!!
Friday morning at about 3:30 am, me and Darin were woke up by the sound of a waterfall coming through our bedroom/basement window. When we pulled up our blinds, we noticed that the entire window well, which is deep, was completly filled with water and was coming straight into our room at full speed. No way to stop it and no way to catch it with anything, it was coming in way too fast. We hurried outside to see what was going on, it had been raining, but there was no way all that water was from the rain. We saw that a pipe had obviously busted and was gushing water everywhere and the only place there was for the water to go was first in our Window well and then to the front of the Apt's. I went and pounded on the Managers door and luckily we were able to call the city and get the water shut off with in about 10 minutes. But in the meantime, we got about 8 inches or so of water in our basement. I'm bad at keeping my room clean and I really paid for it, everything on the floor is pretty much trash, the poor snake was right under the window and by the time we got him out we thought he was dead, from being frozen. Luckily after 4 or 5 hours on the heater, he started to move a little, but his stupid cage is definatly toast, so that was the only thing we were in a hurry to replace was a cage and heat for the snake. Everything else just sat how it was until 7 the next morning when Utah Kleenup Disaster came to start on the clean up. They had to rip up all the carpet, padding, baseboards and place about 15 utility fans down there to air it all out. So that' s where we're at right now. The fans have been going non stop since Friday afternoon, our heater still isn't working, thank goodness we were able to get our hands on a couple space heaters. So hopefully tomorrow everything will be dry enough to get rid of those obnoxiously loud, and cold fans and start on the next project which will probably be ripping down part of our wall and replacing the drywall. All in all we'll probably be without our bedroom for about 3 weeks. It definatly could have been alot worse, but it sure opens your eyes to the everyday conviences that we take for granted. Heat, hot water, our own bed, washer and dryer...etc. So tune in for more details as the basement gets put back together. One thing I am very thankful for, is that I RENT this Townhome so I don't have to do any of the clean up or pay for any of the damages. Just an Inconvience mostly. I didn't get very many pictures cuz my camera kept dying, and the one's I did get, don't even do justice to what it was really like. I am going to try to upload the video I got, but that'll take time. I know I am making this a bigger deal then what you guys think I should, but this is alot of drama happenin at our house and at the time, really freaked me out. So Ya, I am probably making a bigger deal out of it then it's worth, but I can do what I want to do because this is my Blog.... So there!!

Rocky's Outfits
Well I have been really forcing myself not to go out and spend a bunch of money of boy clothes now that we know what we were having, but I've held back....up until the other day. I decided I would allow myself to buy him an outfit to come home from the hospital in, but I couldn't decide between these two so I got both. One for Daddy, and one for Grandpa.

Yikes!!! So Soon?
So last weekend I agreed to let Daylon have his friend over for a sleepover. Shortly after that, Rain came and asked for a sleepover also with a friend of her's that is 3 years older then her. I decided that because Daylon was going to be occupied, that I would let Rain have one as well. After a while of all of them playing upstairs (in seperate rooms so I thought) I decided to go and check on them. Daylon's friend that was sleeping over has a crush on Rain's friend that was sleeping over so they decided to play prom. I thought it was so cute, as long as it all stayed innocent so I went and made them let me take pictures. They'll probably hate me for taking these pictures in a few years, actually Daylon already was mad, but oh well. If you don't take pictures then sometimes you f0rget precious moments like these.

Christmas
Every year when we were younger we always have done grammy jammies, so I carried on the tradition with my children and now we call them Nana Jammies. Rain was pretty upset this year when she found out that they didn't really come from Nana. I did too though when I was her age and found out that my mom was the one to buy them. Oh well, she got over it quick. Here are pictures of everyone's jammies except me. Of course, I am the picture taker so I forgot to get my picture. You can see them in the one picture I have down lower where I'm showing off everything I got for Christmas. We actually had Christmas the Tuesday night before Christmas because they were with there dad on Christmas so it was a little different but we all still had a good time.
And I didn't get a picture of Darin with all his fun things but of course they were mostly things that had to do with guitars. He got a Cry Baby Wammy pedal, strings, a new tuner, 2 pair of work shoes, and I can't think of what else, but anyway, we had a great Chirstmas and I hope all of you did as well.
