Suprise Baby Shower

So since there are 3 prego's in our immediate family and 2 extended family members, my wonderful, thoughtful, creative, amazing sister Maren came up with the idea to have a mini baby shower since we would all actually be together. So even though she planned a bunch of games, by the time we got done eating and such, my mom ( the one who goes to bed at 7pm) decided she wanted to opt directly to the presents so that is what ended up happening and then all Maren's hard work on games and etc. went down the drain. That's ok though because we have other plans to put them to good use. So Maren make a cake looking thing with 4 tiers made out of diapers for each one of us, and then there was the rest of the family that was in on it so we made out with quite a few good, fun gifts....And some priceless pictures. My favorite gift was the hooter hider....of course. But I did love all of them because I'm having a boy and it just made it all the more real. The girls pregnant go like this: Tiana is due first, then Olga, then Meghan, then me. I'm not even going to try to remember the due dates because I know I'll mess them up, I just know that Tiana is due in February and I'm due in April and the others are in between. Thanks Maren for being such a wonderful thoughtful person and throwing us a baby shower that we all enjoyed very much. I love you so so much and your the bestest friend EVER!!!

Thanksgiving with my family

I have so much to be thankful for this year, but just like everyone, it's hard to stop and actually think about it. We're too busy baking and talking and playing that we don't get to share what we're thankful for so I'll just blog it instead. I am deeply thankful to my husband who was been through so much with me and still loves me the same. I am so grateful for my 4 wonderful kids who have blessed my life in so many ways. Dustin, he has been a god send into my life. At first I was very scared to be a step parent and truth be told we have a very rough first year, however, now we get along great and I could never ever ask for a better step son. I love Dustin as if he were my own child. Daylon, once was the oldest, well not anymore. What would I do with out all the screaming from Rain cuz Daylon hit her???? He is such a sweet, sensitive, emotional boy. He is the one that I can count on giving me love when I need it. He is so active... skateboarding, riding his scooter, and playing with friends. Rain, my lil drama queen. She is so creative in everything that she does. She has such an enormous imagination. She is definatly a girl, with a girl attitude. I am so not looking foward to the teen years. Star, my lil Star. I couldn't imagine my life without her. She has been my lil angel since she was born. She is always making me laugh and keeps me happy all the time. She is growing up way too fast. I just love her and love them all. I am indeed grateful for my wonderful family and I was overjoyed to be able to spend Thanksgiving with them (minus Susan who we very deeply missed) my family means the world to me no matter how disfunctional we are. I love them so much.
