Our Handsome New Addition To Our Family!!!

With each kid I have, I realize I have less and less time. Good thing I have a pretty good baby because sometimes he has to fend for himself cuz I'm busy taking care of all the other kids. :) I have such great older kids that are so good at helping out. I was realizing that as sad as it sounds, I haven't done very good at blogging about my sweet handsome boy so this post is dedicated only to Rocky Hyrum Jolley.

2 Weeks Old
--------------
2 Months Old -------------- He looks like a doll, can you tell which one is Rocky??? The girls were playing with there babies and Rocky was one of there babies and he fits perfectly in there baby stroller and car seat. We all love Rocky so much and he brings so much joy and love to our family. He has so many brothers and sisters that absolutely love him and are all so attentive to him. He is so spoiled by everyone and gets all the love in the house. He is smiling so much these days and is really trying hard to talk. He's getting there by saying goo when you talk to him. He is doing better at sleeping at night and goes sometimes up to 6 hours. I had him weighed today and he already weighs 11 lbs. 2 oz. He surpassed his cousin Marlee who was born 5 days before him and weighed almost 3 lbs more then Rocky. He is definitely a chunk, that formula fattened him up. Knowing that this is my last baby, I am making the most out of every day that he is little. I don't want him to grow up. He has such a special place in all of our hearts and makes us smile just by looking at him. I have to put this next picture in here because at the beginning it was quite the rare moment to see Darin changing a diaper. He is all about the 1 and 2 year old stage and not so much about the newborn stage where there not very responsive and too fragile to really throw around and play with. But things will change soon enough.

We Love you Rocky Hyrum Jolley!!!!

Memorial Day BBQ at Nana's and Hapa's

Fun Fun Times With The Family At Our Memorial Day BBQ

Maren and John played against David and Meghan at one of Gramps homemade games. I didn't stick around to see who won. I was too busy taking pictures.
We went to the Pond behind Nana's to feed the ducks. One mean duck was pecking at another ducks neck trying to mate I assume, they freaked Rain out so bad she was running, screaming as loud and as fast as she could if they even looked her direction. I think this picture proves that Daylon had a little too much soda that day.

Quick Trip to Casper, Wy

A couple Saturday's ago, I rode to Casper Wyoming with Mom and Steve to watch Anna play in her Soccer Tournament and then we brought Hali back to stay with me for a couple weeks. It was short but sweet to see Susan and her family. Wish we could have had more time but something is better then nothing.

Mother's Day

This is a really lame picture of my Mother's Day, but my camera died so I didn't get any other pictures. I did have a ery enjoyable Mother's Day though. I got breakfast which was supposed to be in bed, but because I ended up sleeping on the couch with Rocky, I just ate in the kitchen. I got a really cool necklace from the kids and then my favorite part of Mother's day which is all the homemade gifts from the kids that they make at school. Rain made me some art made out of beans, and Daylon made me a little journal. I loved it and I love being a mother to all my wonderful children....all 5 of them. Thanks kiddies for making me such a happy mom.

Darin's 32nd Birthday

For Darin's birthday this year, it was just Darin, me, Star and Rocky enjoying the evening at home with Pizza Hut for dinner and some yummy cake. I decorated the house and posted 32 reasons why I love Darin all throughout the house. He liked it and we had a good night. Happy Birthday Love!!

Speaking of Hair Cuts!!!

Star had her first real haircut at the Salon, or should I say Smart Clips inside Walmart. She loved getting her hair washed in the big sink, but was pretty much done after that. We couldn't get her to hold still for anything, but it actually turned out really cute. (Do I even need to mention that I cut her hair so it was all one length instead of a mullet, and I couldn't get it even so to avoid her being bald, I just took her in....So glad I did)

Teresa the Hair Butcher Strikes Again

No matter how many haircuts I screw up, even multiple times to the same person, they never learn. I guess maybe they think that since some time has passed since the last screw up, that maybe I've learned how to actually cut hair, or maybe they just forget just how bad I am at cutting hair, or in David's case, is too desperate to care. In any case, Teresa the Hair Butcher has Sliced Again (that's a pretty good name huh). Muahahaha!!! I'm hoping one day it'll teach them to never ask again, cuz honestly, one of the main reasons why I QUIT Cosmetology School was because I wanted people to sing Beauty School Dropout about me, no really the main reason why I quit was because I hate cutting hair.....oh and the small detail that I suck at it. So let this be a lesson to all those out there, or to those who read my blog at least, DON'T ASK ME or you will end up bald.

Before (looked bad before so I couldn't do any worse :)
After ( I actually like the buzzed look on him and I think it looks better then the before picture, but the fact of the matter is that he was just wanting "SOME" cut off, not all but a quarter of an inch. I know you still love me though.David, if you ever feel like your alone in this situation, Don't. Hyrum knows how it feels, but be glad you are boys and it doesn't look horrible to be shaved. I still remember my worst hair cutting experience ever (shortly after I dropped out of school) and it was Aunt Tammy. She already had short hair but just needed a tiny bit off the ends.....Needless to say, I could have just shaved her and no one would have been able to tell a difference. In fact Gramps came in just after we finished and said "Well it looks as though I finally got the boy I always wanted". So sorry Aunt Tammy, for the butcher job and for telling everyone. You learned your lesson huh?
