A brief visit, but worth it

We arrived home from Colorado at about 7:30 pm and Hyrum was leaving the SLC airport at 9:30 so we were able to see Hyrum, Tiana, and baby Kiersa for the first time. We only got to see them for one hour, but it was better then nothing. I hate having family so far away. I sure miss Talea and Hyatt. Maren and John and Braxton were also there.

Colorado!!

Me and Starlett went to Colorado a week or so ago for Dennis and Noma's 40th wedding anniversary with Tammy!! It was Starletts first plane ride, she did better on the plane then me. We had sooo much fun!! We'll let the pictures tell you how much fun.

Ouch!!! Rain gets Stitches

Way to go Elle, She only had to get two stitches. Probably should have used a butterfly bandaid.

Star turns ONE!!!

Starlett turned one on Feb 6, 2008. We decided to do a Luau Party... ok, so it was more for mom then it was for Starlett but we and all the guests had tons of fun!! Starlett loved her cake and we found it in her crevases for two weeks after. In her ears, her toes, her fingernails, even in her earring hole. Weird, I know!! We had a blast!

Dustin and his Animals

These are Dustin's two pets he has at our house. If it were up to him he would have a hundred more. His one true love is his love for animals. I wonder where he got that....Darin. Anyway, I think that is the only reason he comes to see us to see his bird named...uh....birdie. And the Family snake (ball python) named Mojo Jojo. We did have to South African Rats till last night. The snake was hungry so it was there time to go. The only time the snake has every bit anyone was with Dustin, He loves his animals to death. He held it and held it for a long time and the snake finally had enough of him rubbing his tail and barely nicked him. He was only freaked out for 1/2 day then was back to holding him all the time again.

Ice Skating Lessons

Rain Started Ice Skating lessons a couple months ago. She absolutly loves it and just got done with Class 2. We'll see how good she is, maybe she be in the Olympics one day. We LOVE our towns Rec Center. It is brand new and they have an indoor Ice Rink, a Huge Pool, with a slide and a seperate Lap pool, A nice work out Room for me and Darin to shed our extra pounds, racquetball courts, and basketball courts. Ohhh, and we can't forget the Daycare!!! We love it!

Jr Jazz Basketball

This year was Daylons first Year to try Basketball. He played for the Jr Jazz and did quite well. He won more then half of his games, and made a couple baskets this season. He doesn't like to be aggressive so he usually only got the ball if it was thrown to him. He loved Basketball and will sign up again in the fall.

Here goes nothing

Well it seems like the new fad is to BLOG. My sister in law sent me and my sister Maren her blog address and me and Maren are both saying to ourselves....what is a BLOG? Well we soon found out and I thought it looked fun to catch up on other peoples lifes so I thought I would do the same. So slowly but surely I'll get it caught up. First of all I have been married to Darin Michael Jolley for 2 1/2 years and am loving every minute of it, yes even the bad moments. :) He has been my true hero and has saved me from alot of heartache and problems by showing me the love that we have for eachother can withstand anything else that comes in our way. Darin has a son from a previous relationship. His name is Dustin Leonard Jolley. He is 11 years old. We love to see him when we get the chance. He usually comes to visit at his Spring Break, the Summer, and last year he spent Christmas with us. We love him and wish we could see him more often. Next on the list is Daylon Kody Woffinden. He is from my previous marriage and his is now 8 almost 9 in June. He is my oldest you can tell. He loves to challenge me to see who is in charge. He is the best big brother to Starlett. He loves to spend time with her and she LOVES her big brother. When he gets home from school, Star is waiting at the door saying Hiiiii. Day day. Next is Rain Nicole Woffinden, she is my princess/drama queen. Wow is she ever a girl. She loves to dance in the kitchen, watch herself talk and sing in the mirror and she loves her friends. She is 6 1/2 and is in 1st grade. Last but not least.... Starlett Kay Jolley which is mine and Darin's. She is the best baby in the world and she has spoiled me by being so easy and so much fun. I better stop having kids so I end on a good kid. :)
