I'm An Aunt.....Again!!

I'm not going to talk about the delivery much, I'll let Maren share her own experience, but I can't resist to not let the world know that I am another Aunt to such a handsome little baby. Here are some pictures of the people that were at the Labor and Delivery Party and some of Jaiden after he was born. We are so excited to have one more addition to our family. We can't wait for our other two coming in February. I love my neices and nephews so so much and hate that I can't see them all every day.

After Jaiden was born:
Born at 8:57 pm : Weighed 6 lbs 1 ounce : 18 Inches long

Baseball and Another Boo-boo!!

Why is it, whenever I try to participate in things to have fun and to show my kids side, I wind up getting hurt. This time you really can't even see the mark, but it hurt so bad I actually cried.... for a long time. It all started with an innocent game of baseball with the kids and some friends. After Darin pitched himself some balls, it was time for Dustin to bat. He wanted me to pitch to him so I did. I had to scoot up closer because I couldn't throw far enough. Dustin warned me to duck out of the way after he hit the ball but it was too late. The ball came flying at me full speed and hit me right in the rib. I dropped to the ground because I couldn't breath because it knocked the wind out of me. By the time everyone rushed to my aid, I could finally breath but before I knew it, I was bawling like a baby in front of all these kids. Man did I feel stupid. So unfortunatly I sat the rest of the game out and just took pictures. There isn't hardly even a mark but I sure felt it this morning when I woke up. My rib is so sore whenever I move a certain way. Maybe I should just sit out from now on instead of trying to be younger then I really am.

Family Home Evening

During the summer's, we are lucky enough to have Dustin come to stay with us for a couple of months. For anyone who has experienced blending families, it is a trying task but worth the while. Daylon and Rain returned home from there dad's house yesterday so the caous continues. Daylon and Dustin are always going back and forth fighting and Daylon and Rain are contstantly fighting so I decided to look online to see if I could find a Family Home Evening lesson that talks about the importance of having love in the home. It turned out really good and the kids enjoyed game that we played. I hope they remember the lesson and try to get along so that I may be able to keep my sanity. Other wise I might just take off and run away and never come back. In all these pictures you see them writing. I wanted there input to find out what they think are some things that we can change in our family to make us all happier. I was going to write down all there answers but don't have the time. They had some great idea's that we will definatly have to work on.

Fun Ice Skating Day

The other day we decided to take a break from all the swimming and go ice skating instead. They have a daycare on site at the rec center, so I took Starlett to the Daycare so I could skate too. When I took her there, she was crying pretty hard so I didn't leave her there for very long. After I picked her up, I wrapped my jacket around her and Ice Skated with her. All the while Starlett was saying Weeeeeeee, Weeeeeeee the whole time I was skating with her. It was a fun day.

Family Fun Day

Whitnee and Anna went back to Wyoming yesterday (Sunday) and so we wanted to have one last get together before they left. Meghan had the idea to go up Provo Canyon and eat and fish and just play. It was a huge sucess and we had SOOOO much fun. I couldn't have asked for a better time, and for better company. Even the emotional pregnant lady that is ready to pop still was great to be around. Love you May. She is so ready to Pop, and little Jaiden has dropped and is ready to come.

While Me, Dustin, Daylon, Rain, Starlett, Meghan, David, and Ryan waited for everyone else to get there, Me and Rain hung out, Daylon and Dustin tried to catch some fish while David and Ryan played frisbee and Meghan chilled with Starlett.
After we all ate, Mom and Steve had to take off early and we started an intense game of Volleyball. Too bad I was busy playing so I didn't get any of the action pictures and David and Ryan doing there "Magic". Me, John, Daylon and Anna lost really bad against David, Ryan, Whitnee, and Meghan. But it was tons of fun!! Next we had a water balloon fight, where once again, I lost BIG TIME. I had Daylon, Alexandra and Rain on my team but the boys (David and Ryan) played REALLY mean, they were in it for blood. They were throwing them so hard, they left a welt on Rain. Poor baby!!We can't forget to take our sister pictures that we always do when were together. We got a little carried away this time.
Star decided she loved the sand and she loved to drop it in her hair. She was so good all day and she didn't have a nap all day long.
Daylon and Anna playing frisbee to try and dry off. Braxton kept himself entertained the entire time with the balls and the scooter. By the end of the day, he was getting pretty good and balancing himself on the scooter. He is so adorable. I just love my nephew. And then there's me, I always LOVE to be the center of attention. I'm making love to the camera to show off how drenched I was by the end of the water fight. David had to get in on the action!! After hours of fun, we still had yet to start a fire and roast smores and puggy pies. There were some obnoxious people around us so Maren insisted we pack everything up and move to a different place. So she won and we did. By the time we got the smores started, shortly after that, an old couple (park managers) came to inform us that the park was closed. They said it closed at 10:30. So we checked our watches and it was 10:31. Give me a break. Anyway, so we packed up quick and headed out. By the time I drove all the way back to North Salt Lake it was 12:30 am. Late night, but so worth it. Thanks family for the fun day.
