Weekend Fun

Forrest and Olga (Darin and Forrest are cousins) had there 2nd annual Summer Picnic at the Murray City Park. They had hotdogs, vegetable shiskabobs, bbq'd corn on the cob, and plenty of all other kinds of food. It was very nice to see them and be able to spend some time with them.

Forrest and Olga Webster

And this adorable baby, no relation, in fact I saw her for the first time today, she was soooo gorgeous that I just had to take a picture of her. Her name is Candace and she is 2 1/2 months old. Awwww, I wish babies would stay small forever. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After everyone was through eating, we headed over to the Murray Rec Center Swimming Pool to play. It had a slide and a lazy river and a huge children's play area. We were there for about an hour until horror struck..... AWWWWW!
Starlett is very independent and she is always wanting to walk on her own, ecspecially when she shouldn't, like at the swimming pool. So I let her walk in and out of the water. It was like a shallow ramp into deeper water. Well she walked out of the pool and the floors there were extremely slippery so within a few seconds, she had slipped and landed on her face, her two front teeth hit the tile and immediatly she started bleeding. So I picked her up and pretty soon I had blood all over me too. It looked alot worse then what it was and so everyone was staring in shock. So we went to the lifeguard station and tried the best we could to clean it up. It looked as if she had hit her one front tooth up into her gums. Pretty soon we got it cleaned and it stopped bleeding so she was doing ok. Needless to say, neither her nor I felt like swimming anymore so that ended that adventure. So today, Wednesday, we finally got in to see a pediatric dentist to take a look at it. Thankfully, it didn't crack or damage the tooth in any way and she said it will probably come back down, but probably from the trauma, she now has thresh in her mouth, and on top of that she has all four of her molers breaking through all at the same time, so needless to say, she is one cranky, whiny, demanding baby this week. Oh well, life goes on so they say. So here is a picture after the dentist. She got a toothbrush and she got to pick out a toy and she picked a little coin purse key chain. She was pretty happy after that. Poor Baby.
