Darin came home from work with these the other day. I used to think flowers were just a waste of money, but now I love them. I have such a sweet husband.

They ARE a waste of money, but a good waste of money! :D (Is there such a thing?!) Lucky you!
The note is way cute, I like it better than the flowers :)
Well, you DID have a change to live in Grants Pass, which would make you only an hour and a half away. We didn't force you back to Utah, and we're not forcing Maren to Oregon. They came up with the idea of moving here on their own (we didn't fight against it of course), but we were really surprised that they wanted to move here. I never though John would want to move to Oregon, but we're glad to have at least one family member close. You still have Rachel, Elisabeth, David and Mom, so you can't be too mad at us. My kids haven't had their cousins close all their life!!!! I'm excited they want to stay, but it is just a trial thing, hence they're renting their house out instead of selling. We NEVER want anyone out here who doesn't REALLY want to be out here on their own free will. It's nothing but a nightmare when family comes out here when they don't truly want to be here in the first place. Sorry that you and Maren are so close and she won't be living close anymore. My closest sister (friend-wise) is in England...half a world away, so at least you're only 15 hours and can drive and not have to save for years and years and years in order to afford to fly your family go visit her. Be glad she's at least visitable on a yearly basis.
