Darin's Ideal Day off (Minus Guitar Center)

Anyone who knows Darin, knows that he is a big time animal lover. He even stopped eating meat for a period of time because he felt bad eating animals. Although he has started eating meat again, that doesn't stop his love for all animals. His ideal day would be to go the Humane Society to walk and play with the dogs and then make a detour over to Guitar Center where he could sit and rock out on the guitars for hours. This time I opted out of Guitar Center and went to visit his grandma Fisher instead. Back to the Humane Society story, Almost everytime he goes there, there are tons of Pitbulls, since people seem to think there dangerous, so that is usually the one's he walks. This time there were only two pitbulls, so he took a turn with the rotweiler too. That one was so calm and loving, even Star dared to pet that one. The other one's she was a little iffy on.

This is what Star first thought about the dog. She would come run to me or hide behind my back, but he warmed up quick.
She finally got brave enough to walk with the dog and her dad but with distance between her and the dog.
Then she decided she wanted to walk the dog but always her dad in between her and the dog.
And then before long she was playing with the dog and giving him loves.
This dog was my favorite, it was the last one we walked and it is another pit bull but it's black and brown, he was so young and lively and fun, yet very gentle.
And we can't forget this one, the Rotweiler. I personally don't like them, but it was because of the bad reputations just like pitbulls so I changed my way of thinking. This one was the calmest one of all of them. Darin really wanted to take him home....over the pitbulls. Can you believe that? I can't either. All in all we had a fun time. Ecapecially Starlett.

After the Rec Center, we had to rush to pick up Darin from work (because we're down to one car cuz our lovely piece of crap van is broken down) and then rush over to the church for our Chili cook off/Halloween Party for our ward. The kids weren't too fond of the Chili but there was about 15 different kinds to choose from and they were really good. Then they had some games for the kids to play.
Me and my good friend from the ward, Tiffany. She is so adorable. And if you look closely, you can see a little pregnancy bump. It just barely popped out a couple days ago.
Rain seriously looks possessed in all the pictures I took of her this day. I guess that she thought that because she was a witch, she had to act like one all day long.
This is what Darin calls "Ground Beef". Haha get it? She's a cow and she's on the ground. I thought that was a good one. Isn't she just the cutest cow you've ever seen. It's not obvious that I adore my kids is it???

Happy Early Halloween at the Rec Center

On Oct. 25 we went to A Spooktacular at our local Rec Center that we love so much. They had soooo many things to do and of course they all took tickets so my kids each got 7.00 to spend and that was enough to do about 7 things. They had a bat cave, fishing in the pool, canoe rides in the deep end pool, many different booths in the basketball gym and a whole bunch of more stuff upstairs that we didn't even get to because we ran out of time and money. Oh well, it was fun anyway. Me and the kids. Rain was a gothic witch(she looks possessed in every picture I took of her, Daylon was some zombie looking thing, but the mask scared Star to death so he didn't wear it very much, and Star was my little Mooo Cow.This is the kids with our friend Estefania.
Mooooooo!!!
Do Cow's Drink Milk?? This one does.
Where's Mooo Cow?
There she is.
Her big belly and fat butt were my favorite parts. She looked so cute when she'd walk. Here she was dancing to the music. That was adorable too.
Daylon the zombie with his mask on.
Daylon is awesome at basketball and if you get two shots you get a pez dispenser, after his 2nd one they told him no more.
I know, I look like a hooker, I was trying to be a punk rocker, but I forgot my guitar hero guitar in the car so instead this is what I look like, I was getting some pretty weird looks.
And next we're on to the church for a Chili Cook Off/ Halloween Party. Tune in.....
